Flexslider not appearing in ie8

  • I have integrated flexsider into my wordpress theme and everything works fine in all modern browsers but in ie8 nothing appears at all. When viewing the source I can see the slider but it’s just a blank space in the browser. Here is my test site page with the problem: https://dundee.biz/newbigging/?page_id=2

    has anyone had any similar issues?

  • Which plugin specifically? Link to the plugin page. IE8 really is not considered a modern browser – it does not support HTML5 so you may need custom coding for thing to work.

    hello, it is this https://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/

    it works in ie8 on their demo but not on my site for some reason. A conflict with other jquery perhaps?

    You’ll need to contact WooThemes about that – as we don’t have access or support commercial products on these forums, sorry.

    oh right sorry – the slider is a free download and I saw a couple of other flexslider problems on these forums so thought I would give it a try. I will try the woothemes support forums thanks.
