Flexslider problems with IE9

Hi.

I’m experiencing problems with flexslider in IE9.

The main problem is that the flex-caption that should sit horizontally across the foot of each photo bunches up vertically on the left hand side. The first in the slide sequence works properly but the remainder have this problem.

The second issue is that the caption lacks transparency in IE9 although the opacity is set at 50%.

In all other main browsers everything works properly.

I’m seeking help because I’ve spent weeks trying everything else. I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
