    Please try to add the below CSS code from the Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS, and check.

        height: 300px !important;

    Hi,

    thank you, that basically works – but is not a good solution to restrict it by pixels.
    I have pages with a 2 column product grid and of course the product images/sliders are higher there. Also when the page width is changing, the absolute image sizes are changing…
    Is there no solution that works globally for all situations?
