Does anyone know why the Flickr badge code does not work on my site? I’ve tried pasting it in as it is (the second instance) and I have tried commenting out the “-> start of flickr badge…” and “<- end of flickr badge”.

Is this an issue with the version of WP I am running, the theme I am using, user error?

    Thanks.

Pasting it in where? A post? A widget?

    Hi. Thanks.

I was just posting it in the body of the text of a post.

Basically I was doing it in the same manner – in the body of the post – that I have for Vimeo videos but I realize now that I had a plugin that I downloaded that allowed me to do this by clicking on an icon.

It would go easier on a text widget in your sidbar. But are you using the HTML viewer to add this?

    Hi. Thank you.

I think I need it in the body of the post or it will show up all the time on all pages which I don’t want to do at the moment.

I am not exactly sure what the HTML viewer is but I know I have two tabs one that shows the images and one that shows just the html text. Normally I use the image view tab and if I have a problem with formatting or paragraph returns I switch to html text.

Do you think trying it in the html text tab will help?

    thanks!

The HTML test view is the one you want.

    Hi. Thanks.

I am not sure what “HTML test view” is exactly.

Are you saying that rather than entering this code in the tab that shows me the actual images (where I normally add images or text) – that you want me to try it in the tab that only shows HTML code?

    Thanks.

    HTML TEXT, sorry, typo.

There are TWO views: Visual and HTML.

Pick HTML (the one that shows the HTML code). That is called the HTML view.

    PASTE your code in there.

    Thank You!

I will try it a little later today or tomorrow.

    Thanks so much!
