• I installed the latest version of Flickr Gallery, but the Lightbox feature does not work.. I enable it, doesn’t do anything – When I click on the thumbnails, it just takes me to the Flickr page.. I put a rel=”lightbox” within the code, on the thumbnails, and Lightbox works, but it only shows the thumbnail..

    Any help here is appreciated

    Thanks

  • Perfect Dan! I think I know what’s wrong. Thanks.

    Dan, here it is https://vamoscuidardoplaneta.net/2010/07/28/teste-flickr/

    don’t mind the template tag without [] on the top, it’s just a reminder for me ??

    Hi all, I’m new of the forum.

    I have the same problem,
    every time that I click on an image displayed, lightbox won’t work, but redirects me on the flickr page.

    I tried on different browsers, and even on my iPhone, I tried to see if some js were on, but i’m not too good coding, and it still does the problem.

    my website is https://www.casagli.com

    can anyone help me in some ways?
    any help will be appreciated.

    Alessandro

    @miguelpeixe,

    Your page has a Javascript error that could be linked to another plugin. Try temporarily deactivating your other plugins and then re-enabling them so that you can find out which one is causing the error.

    @casagli,

    I don’t see my plugin in use anywhere. Can you send me an example?

    @dancoulter sorry Dan. I meant to wrote my website (under construction until I solve this) as https://www.casagli.com/blog/
    thanks for your support

    @casagli,

    Looks like you have something that is inserting Javascript into the onclick HTML attribute of every link on the page. That’s breaking the lightbox. It might be called “pagetracker”.

    @dancoulter

    I’ve deactivated every plugin and theme, and still not work. I’ve tried also to search within the folder those terms you’ve indicating me, but looks like there are too many “onclick”‘s there.. dunno what to do..

    @casagli

    Could you leave all other plugins inactive while I look at it and switch it to the default theme?

    @dancoulter

    of course! they are now all unactive and with the default theme!

    many thanks!

    Ok, I just figured out what is causing the error and you were right, it has nothing to do with the theme and plugins. There’s a slightly unexpected behavior because your blog is in a subfolder of the domain. I’ll try to work out a fix. For now, if you turn off the setting that tries to load large images in the lightbox, I bet it will start working.

    thank you Dan.
    I just made a little donation for support your wonderful job.
    I hope the fix will come soon!

    aaaand yes, turning of the “load the large images” made it work. This is nice, i can go on completing it.. but I need the big photos ??
