Flickr tags import

I haven′t been able to try the plugin yet but it looks excellent and quite unique. I have one quick question, is there a way to import flickr tags? Ideally they should be imported as terms in a custom taxonomy, but even adding the tags as plain text strings in the alt text for the attachment would be useful. Does this make sense to you? Is there a way to do this?

Also, si there an upper level of how many images can be imported at a time? Can you suggest any good practices regarding large imports?
