Floating CF7 form

Hi,

I would like to have the CF7 form floating on my WP.
What is the best practice to implement floating CF7 form?

I have been looking around for 2 days now to no avail…
I tried to use WP float – but that doesn’t accept shortcodes seemingly, not even the echo do_shortcode php trick worked.
Then it was suggested to use Widgets-on-Pages here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/allowing-shortcode-within-the-wp-float
But I could not figure out where should I put the CF7 shortcode.

Anyone has any solutions, suggestions or links?
