floating list items

I’m using presentation shortcodes.

I’m trying to create 3 list items (with no bullets) that will float next to each other. I’m using inline CSS because I’m not a CSS pro (yet – I’m working on it!).

Question 1: How do I reduce the gap between the h2 headings and the top of the presentation (without impacting the rest of my css styling).

Question2: I have a 3rd list item to add, but I want to float it between (middle-of) list items 1 & 2 (this is so that I can get the desired transition effect, I want the middle one to appear last).
