    I have Fluent Forms Pro and a form that allows file attachments.

    Usually, when no attachment is selected, there is no attachment in the mail.

    But when Post SMTP is activated, there is an empty (0 kb) attachment called file-upload in the email, which is annoying, because in the email client it shows the little safety pin to indicate the attachment.

    Is there any way to make that work as expected?
    Thanks
    Anja

    @netzmaedchen Hi,

    Hope you are doing good.

    Let me test this issue on my staging website, also can you provide me POST SMTP Diagnostic test report? you can find it from the POST SMTP Dashboard.

    Thanks

    Thanks! Great if you have it, otherwise I could create a test site for you. This problem is replicable on any site.

    If possible create a screen recorded video of this issue and must show form backend fields.

    Thanks

    It really doesn’t matter what the fields are. It’s JUST the file upload field.
    Make a form with a file upload field, install and configure Post SMTP Plugin and send the form without adding a file. Voila! It will have an empty attachment.

    If you deactivate Post SMTP (or probably use another SMTP tool), the email will be sent without an attachment.
