Fluente SMTP not sending

A couple of days ago the FluentSMTP plugin quit working. I tried playing with it but nothing helped. I contacted my IT dept and we created a ticket for it. I was notified it was fixed via email and went to go test it.
Tests went well until I was asked to set up a SECOND connection as a FALLBACK. I clicked on the Active Email Connections + Add Another Connection, but I soon discovered that it would only allow me ONE connection.
1. The second connection NEVER worked.
2. I tried to go back to the original SMTP provider and settings, but they NO LONGER WORKED.All I get now is: SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

Server error. Form not sent.
Email Server error. Form not sent.This is after a major update to FluentSMTP. Been loving it until now.
If the app is only going to allow ONE SMTP account please don’t wipe out the existing record and display a blank new set up form! It should display a warning!
