Flyout Sidebar for Mobile Only

  • I am looking to create a sidebar that will either flyout when you press a button or when you slide to the left you view the sidebar. I haven’t seen this done but I’d imagine jquery and the animate function could accomplish something along these lines.

    Does anyone know of a plugin or script that already does this?

    Does anyone have any ideas on best ways to do this with wordpress?

    I’ve just got tired of throwing the sidebar before the footer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    After investigating a little further it seems this could be done with jquery mobile. Using swipeleft and swiperight. Jquery Mobile Documentation

    Again any help is appreciated. Continuing to hack away at it I will update once I have something along the lines of what I am trying for.
