Focus keyphrase – Multilingual issue(s)

Hi there,
I was wondering if you could help me out. I’m using Polylang as my multilingual plug-in, though this is not so much a conflict between the two I think,.
The issue I’m facing is (for example) – The home page(s) are all using the same focus keyphrase (the brand name). In my eyes that makes sense, since I believe you generally want the home pages to rank for the brand name keyphrase. However, I’m getting notices saying I’ve used this keyphrase several times before.
My question is: Shouldn’t the hreflang attributes be “noticable” to the point where the fact that the pages are the same (only in a different language) make these types of notices a moot point?
EDIT*: I also want to ask the same thing about product pages (be it WooCommerce ones, or on websites which don’t sell directly, but use product pages as showcasing examples).
I have an example of a website in 3 different languages, all showcasing the same product, with the keyphrase for all examples being the product name.
