  • Nothing should have changed there. Does the Yoast SEO meta box look like this: https://kb.yoast.com/article/324-yoastseo-meta-box-is-blank?

If it doesn’t, and the steps in that article don’t solve the problem, please provide a detailed bug report.

    No it looks like https://www.polennieuws.nl/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/metabox-1024×613.png
If I put a foucus keyword into the place and I click on publish the focus keyword is gone and there is no analyze, the dot is gray, not green or so.

    Hi Frans,

I’ve been trying to reproduce this, but have been unable to do so. Could there be any plugin interfering with Yoast SEO?

Usually, the easiest way to test this is by disabling all other plugins, and then reactivating them one by one.

If you find a plugin conflict, please report it as detailed as possible to GitHub.

Problem is, I work on that page every day for several hours, focus keyword worked fine till the update today to 3.2.1.

But it’s late now en tommorrow I will try

    Thanks for now

Hi, I have the same problem. After I installed the update its going wrong. There is no other plugin on the website interfering the Yoast SEO plugin. Can I get the older Yoast SEO version back?

Affirming the same situation here. We’ve tested on a selection of fresh local and remote test installs – no plugins present, WP default plugins removed.

    Few sites with problems.
Nothing doing with the Focuswoord ?? (thats Dutch)

    Beste Taco Verdonschot,

What I did. I looked into Firefox and Yes indeed java needed a update, but also that was not possible without problems because all is different.

Then as suggested, de-activated all plugins.

    Result:
    contactform crasht

I tried to make a post with focus keyword……………nothing
Again all plugins de-activated and activated…………….nothing

I do have an newspage https://www.polennieuws.nl/ without a focus keyword I can stop.

I hope you have a solution. For I can see the rest is working, only that focus keyword is lame.

    Kind regards

    @mariovisie

In Dutch it is Focus trefwoord and that is not working.

    URGENT!!!!

There is a bug in the new version 3.2.1. I had the same problem. Focus keyword was not saved!

After deleting the new plugin (ftp) and reinstaling (ftp)the previous one (3.1.2) the problem has been resolved!

    Gracias!Twan

Indeed, I’m having difficulty trying to wrap my head around it. Maybe this is a Dutch issue? ??

Either way, I’ve done some other tests, but it doesn’t appear theme related – thusfar. 2016 carries the issue, but also in-house and commercial themes. I tried with a barebone, still the same. So it’s neither plugins, nor themes. Which is strange, as it’s not like that much has changed in this update.

I did notice that with some commercial theme frameworks there’s strange conflicts for saving pages, but that’s a different topic.

Yust reinstall 3.1.2. the previous plugin

    BR Twan

That might be an idea, if we weren’t having text analysis issues with some clients (language specific thing) ??

Where can I find the previous on? Cold Turkey copy from a back up??

Yes, just make sure it is 3.1.2 save the map on your desktop. Delete through ftp the newest yoast plugin (3.2.1) and upload through ftp the wordpress-seo (3.1.2) directory
