Folder content visible instead of blog

I just installed a brand new blog, installation went fine and I was able to log in using the ‘admin’ username.
Once I was logged in i did not end up in the dashboard but in the wordpress folder, viewing the content of the folder instead of the blog itself. When I click the wp-admin folder -> index.php I do get redirected to the dashboard though.

When I click ‘visit site’ on the top left in the Dashboard I end up in the folder again.

Anyone familiar with this problem? Thanks a lot for your help!
