Folder Import get stucked

    Hi,

    I need to import a large quantity of images .. about 2/3000 per gallery! I’m trying to use the “import folder” tool from the “Add gallery/images” section. The option “keep imgs on original location” is checked.

    After making a failed first test, I thought about dividing each folder into subfolders of 500 photos each, as well as the upload limit set in the settings.

    But the creation of the gallery get stucked and on the dashboard continues to show “import in progress”. I see from FTP that the creation of backup files and thumbnails stops and does not proceed. I even tried to lower the number of files per folder to 250 but same result.

    The php memory limit on my server is 512 mb: if I get up would it work?
    Any suggest to improve this import operation I must do?

    Just found that creating the album and then just scanning the folder for updates (w/ bunches of 400/450) works like a charm.

    This is defenetely the way to achieve the upload of big folders in very quick times.
