I’ve turned on Folders for attachments.
I’ve created a folder. (The fyout menu still didn’t appear.)
I’ve opened a media file, checked to move it into that folder and updated the file.
Now in the media library the file is marked as belonging to that folder. And the media library is the only way I can access that folder. Without the flyout menu the plugin is of little use.

  • Hi there,

I shall take a look into this for you. In the meantime, could you let me know which version of WordPress you are using?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I have taken a look with latest wordpress and latest folders.

Please ensure you have enabled folders for media.

Then, in the new menu item “Media Folders”, create your folders there.

In the “media” screen, select the items you want to move into a folder and ensure you add them into the folder you want to display.

Then after the attachments have successfully been added to the folder, the “media folders” menu item will then have flyouts for those folders you have populated.

Note that if folders are empty, they will not show in the sidebar.

Hope this is helpful to you.

    It works.
What i didn’t do at first was putting files to folders with BULK ACTION. Setting the folder in the properties of an individual file didn’t work.
