Folder Name Change

  • Hi. First of all thanks for the plugin. I’ve changed the plugin’s folder name, but on the page on my site, when I open the source code, I see that the plugin’s name hasn’t changed. The new name I gave is not visible. His name appears instead.

    example.com/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/ …

    I have to change this name for security.

    Instead of the name “subscribe-to-comments-reloaded”, another name should appear.

    Can you please tell me the reason for this? I need to fix it. Thanks..

    Hi @robosayar

    Unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment, we can make it possible in a future update but keep in mind that if you change the folder name you won’t get plugin updates, WP won’t think of it as the same plugin.
