Folder sync does not delete removed images

    Hi, we completed a folder Sync after deleting a few images using FTP, but the actual media library entries were not deleted. Does sync work to add new images only? Is there any way of making it delete images that have been removed as well please?

    Normally you should not delete with FTP
    But now you have done that, perform the following
    1. Disable the plugin
    2. Activate Media Library reset.
    3. Perform a database reset.
    4. Disable Media Library reset.
    5. Enable the Media Library Folders plugin
    6. Check the contents with MLF
    The deleted images shoul no longer be present
    This will resolve your problem

    The sync function only adds images as Media Library Folders is designed not to remove accidentally remove images from a site. Note that the media library is a database. Image do not show up unless they have been added to the database and in order to keep the database up to date, one should delete images through the media library or Media Library Folders.
