Folders and files cannot be deleted

    There are folders and files in the directory that no longer exist on the server. But they cannot be deleted either. The error message is: “some of the files couldn’t be removed”

    Are you trying to delete old links?

    If so, please
    1. enable “Show custom posts”
    2. go to wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=bwg_gallery page and delete the gallery from the list

    If this is not the case can we please have the directory details?

    Thanks for your help.

    Unfortunately the old folder is not visible there.

    The folder can only be seen in the “add Photos” window.

    However, this folder no longer exists on the FTP server.

    How can I send you a screenshot?

    Files and directories in the PG uploads directories should always be deleted with the PG filemanager. If directories and files are copied to the server with the PG filemanger and then only deleted via ftp, the PG filemager may not notice this and still show them as available.

    A simple trick would be the following: You create the directories and files via ftp with the same name and the same location (directory level) as they are displayed in the PG filemanager. Then you delete them using the PG filemanger.
