Folders and My Publications Widgets Not Working?

Hi, I’m having trouble getting the “My Publications” Widget to yield anything at all. Similarly, if I use the “Collection” widget with Collection Type set to folder, it yields nothing. I have had success when Collection Type is set to group, but the collections I actually want to display are in My Publications and another folder, not in a group. Is this a known issue?
