Follow and More

1) To add social links, go to Theme Options > Social Links and add them there.

2) Go to Appearance > Widgets and add your widgets to the “Primary” and “Secondary” box. For example AlxTabs and AlxPosts, as the theme screenshot shows.

3) To modify the Follow and More texts, edit the /languages/en_US.po file

“To modify the Follow and More texts, edit the /languages/en_US.po file” … doesnt work for me.Even tried with Poedit.

See this guide. Also, it is best to use a child theme to add your modified files.

This is partly the same subject as above. I downloaded Hueman early this week and I is very satisfied.
My page is in Norwegian and I found out how to change MORE and FOLLOW and it worked but the top-text in the mid-column was CATEGORY when I select a Kategori in the sidebar, not KATEGORI as it shoul be in Norwegian
To-day I updated, and then MORE and FOLLOW turned back to English.
Can you please inform where I shall change the MORE, FOLLOW and CATOGORY, in order to make it survive next updates, will that be in the wp-content/languages/nb_NO.po?

I cannot find the en_US.po in languages to change the “more.” Can someone please help me locating this file or assist on how to change the “more” text. Thank you

Meine Frage an Dich und an Nutzer Deines Theme die vielleicht auch das WP mit einer deutschen Sprach Datei nutzen und Deinem Theme.

Ich kann ebenfalls die W?rter ?Follow und More“ nicht auf meiner Webseite ver?ndern. Obwohl ich alle Tipps in diesem Forum genutzt habe. In der Sprach Datei konnte ich alles ?ndern, aber auf dem Bildschirm wird immer wieder Follow und More angezeigt.

Wer wei? eine Antwort ?

Hi Alex, beautiful WP – Design. My first website with WP. I use your theme. And am very happy with it. Since my English is very bad, I write in German. With a subsequent translation into English by Google.
Maybe use My question to you and to your users which is also the WP Theme with a German language file and your theme.

I also can not change the words “Follow and More” on my website. Although I have used all the tips in this forum. In the language file I could change anything, but on the screen and follow More will appear again and again.

Who knows the answer?

Falls du noch es noch nicht hinbekommen hast. Du kannst die W?rter direkt in der sidebar.php (Follow) bzw. sidebar-2.php (More) anpassen. Dann klappt das auch mit der Darstellung.

Alexander, if I want to change the More and Follow: text completely, ie not translate it but rather titling both fields something else, is fiddling with .mo and .po stuff as advised in that guide still the best way to go about it?

Because a person browsing the page using US language settings would still see the original term, unless I changed that too? So far I found the place to change More in the sidebar-2.php section, but not found the right place for Follow:.

You can edit the Follow: text by searching for follow: in the sidebar.php file. Hope that helps you.

If you want to change de sidebar background color of the social link (above the main menu), the css code is :

}
