• Hi, We have a wordpress website with multiple pages, one of which is a blog page. I want to put a follow button on just the blog page so followers will get an email each time we publish a new blog post.

I loaded the jetpack follow button but there was a few problems with this. The plugin was on all our pages on the website and when I asked a friend to test it out he got no email when I published a new dummy blog post.

Has anyone had any success with a blog ‘follow’ button? Is it possible to put a follow button plugin on just the blog page?

    our website is https://www.seekdesign.ie

    Thanks in advance!

  • Showing something on only one page would be mostly up to your theme — you’d need a theme that had either a unique sidebar area where you could put the widget (that’s only used on that one template/page), or else to make modifications directly to the theme file to include the contents of the widget. Either way you’d probably need to engage a developer, unless your theme happens to already support this.

    HTH.
