Follow Me On WordPress Option

    I downloaded this widget specifically because WordPress is one of the follow me options. When I go to the Widget and select WordPress, what address do I place where it says WordPress URL? If I simply place my website URL there and test it, it just brings me right back to my home page.

    Is there additional info that should be added to the URL so that it will add my blog to the other persons follow list?

    Hi,
    Clicking on the icons will just take you to the url you have entered in the widget settings. So if you place your websites URL it is normal it will take you to the homepage.
    I actually added the wordpress icon thinking more like for a www.ads-software.com profile page, but you can place anything there, you could add your rss feed url if you want instead of using the rss icon.
    You can also see the specificfeeds.com icon for an rss subscription, it is a pretty cool service for this.

    I had the exact same question. I wanted to link in my WordPress.com account or whatever – for WordPress.com people to follow via their WP.com account.

    So this is not possible? Thanks WP.com. Oh well.

    When you say “a www.ads-software.com profile page” do you mean a page we create in our site or is there a profile page somewhere?

    The icon will take the user to any url that you put in that specific icon.
    When I say wordpress profile page I meen for example this page, it’s my profile page at www.ads-software.com, so if I put this link the icon will take me to that page when I click on it. You can put the link to your wordpress.com account if you wish.
