    Hello there,

I’ve been using WordPress for a little while now. But as for Woocommerce I’m quite new. So with OpenTickets. Because I’ve followed the steps 2 times on a clean installed WordPress (4,1) but as for the ‘Event Calendar’ page or any other page I don’t get one where I can ‘buy’ or ‘view’ tickets. Again, the installation is all clean. I’ve tried it with 2 templates that are compatible with WooCommerce.

The site is not public, but local. Sooo what am I doing wrong? I mean, by default you won’t get a page where you don’t get the events/tickets etc. Just an empty calendar.

By now I made 2 products, 3 events and 1 venue. (all without tags & categories)

@settler11 It could be a couple small things, but I have some questions.

When you say you are running local, do you mean literally on a local machine, or on a dev box somewhere.

If you are running local, it could be environmental. Unfortunately, in order to help debug we’d need access.

A couple things to try are:

    • Make sure the Event is Published.
    • On the Admin side, under events, make sure something is selected for the 5 fields there. This is under the Calendar where you created the Event.
    • Check the Ticket Product you are selling has Ticket selected

If those don’t work, under OpenTickets -> System cut and paste the report here and that might help us figure out the issue.

@quadshot Yeah, local. Running in MAMP. I could try it on a online site..
    For those requirements:

    1. Already was published
    2. What do you mean? I got on each event 1 ‘event’ selected in the agenda.
    3. Nothing weird
    4. And here the status:

In order for us to help you – this needs to be on a public site that we can log on to with Admin Access

If you can do this and give us the admin credentials – we can take a look

    @eilbell, @quadshot
I’ve made a setup online. I’ve noticed I overlooked something BUT even then it still doesn’t work. What I forgot was to setup the ‘Event Date/Times’.

I can create a new user to let you guys take a peek but where do I need to send the details?

Also: for the last step on the opentickets.com page it says:

    Run Test Scenarios’:

Go to your Event Page on the front end of your site like a customer would.
Select a ticket for your event
Go through the check-out process to make sure your customers have a smooth experience purchasing tickets to your event.
Check to make sure you received your confirmation email
Check the link to your ticket and that is easily available for your customer to download and/or print.

But there’s no ‘Event page’ created. There’s only a Event Calendar. Or is that it?

    Thanks in advance.

Ah, I made the calendar work somehow. I was apparently messing around with the time.

But I’m still wondering about the ‘Event Page’.

If you look at all of the pages that have been created – amongst them you will see “Event Calendar”

    That IS the Event Page

    Hey @settler11,

Just to clarify, the ‘event calendar’ is actually a different page than each ‘individual event page’. Typically, to reach an ‘individual event page’ you would first visit the event calendar and click an event block on the calendar. That will direct you to the single event page. There are a couple things that could be preventing this process from happening though. The fastest way for me to help you track down exactly what it could be, would be to do what you suggested above, and create a user for us, and allow me to login and check the various things it could be. Once I have located the issue, I will post back here so that everyone that could be running into the same problem will have something to reference.

Once you have made an account, send the credentials to ‘info at opentickets.com’ and I grab them and take a peek.

    Thanks,
    Loushou

Sorry to bother, but we decided to look for something else. And that worked perfectly what we wanted. ??
