Font and Background Disaster

I use NEWS CODE theme and I recently switched to the darker version.Aalthough I have selected everywhere white font colour, a grey one appears inside the main article. Here is an example:

I use The event calendar pluggin and I see a white background colour even though I selected black or dark grey everywhere. As a result, the white font in the map section is covering the white font colour. I want either black lettering or black or grey background colour. Here is an example

PLEASE help me, I have no idea how to edit CSS to change that.
