Font Color

Hello – I need to adjust the text color I’m using on my nav bar titles as well as the categories listed on my side bar. When I click on the word I’d like to change the color of, and select “color” on the “what to change” dropdown, then adjust the color manually, nothing happens. I’ve selected several different elements to try to customize (again, I only need to change the text color), and nothing happens. Can you help me troubleshoot? Do I need to select a different option from the “what to change background”?
