Font color in Basic Extended Album

    Using Nextgen 2.1.50
    Basic Extended Album used as a ‘listing page’ with brief descriptions displayed from each gallery.
    Until the latest update I could highlight parts of the gallery description with
    <b><span style=”color: #FF0000;”> and it would display as intended, bold and red.
    Now it only displays Bold but no color – code is altered by Nextgen to
    <b>*NEW*<br><span style=\\\\\\\”color: #FF0000;\\\\\\\”>*

    Is there any workaround to this? I’ve already tried html/css tags but it gets removed as well.
