Having set up my website on Safari I was very precise with the choice of fonts and colours and sizes etc. and got the site looking almost as good as I wanted. However; distressingly I notice that when viewing the site on other browsers the colour, fonts and sizes are all mixed up and it looks really shabby!

I very recently created a child theme as I was hoping to change/tweak a few things with links and headers/foots/widgets. Once the child theme was eventually created (I am a complete novice) I saw that the Editor was no longer available to me. I have My Customer CSS Plugin – but haven’t had much luck with coding in that.

I would really appreciate advice on how to rectify this – so that the chosen font is the same in al browers. Will I have to go back to Parent Theme to do this and what exactly needs doing?

I will revert back to Parent Theme now and see if there is a difference and post back in a moment.

I am using WordPress Theme Third Style-Child. Many thanks for any advice.

The Parent Theme is showing the exact same font problems. All perfect (isn) in Safari – but Firefox, Chrome are messed up! Can’t access IE on Mac – so can only ‘assume’ same is happening there.

Interestingly I have just edited text in Chrome and it can be changed. How should I address this please – can’t go through each page changing everything – or is that the only way?

Oh dear – hoping someone can help – I have now been to site and changed font in some areas to Trebuchet MS which is a standard WP font – I was using Gill Sans. Now – the font size and Bold has gone doolalie! Shows ok in edit screen – but on view page is all out of sync.
