font is different in different browsers!

  • This seems a general issue – I use chrome to develop but when I look at the ssite in firefox the font set is different – Times in Chrome, sans serif (looks like verdana) in firefox.

    Any ideas?

    Yes – sort of! I made the assumption that font choices made within wordpress would over-rule browser settings, but they don’t: look in your browser settings and change the default font there. Bit of a pain when you want to control layouts but find that end users can choose any font they want and mess up your hard work.
