Font resizing event title widget does not work on home page

    Hi, currently running The Events Calendar free plugin, needing to resize font title for event title widget, currently using the string:

    .tribe-events-list-widget-events .tribe-event-title {font-size:10px !important;}

    uploaded in theme/mytheme-child/tribe.events/tribe-events.css

    It works on inside pages BUT on home page. Cleared cache, reloaded page, used another browser… still the same behaviour: home page widget event title is not resized to my custom value.

    Any help?
