Font Size Selection not working in 5.6.1

Which dropdown? Can you post a screen shot?

No matter what you select it goes back to default.

I’m talking bout the Font Size Select in the Typography Settings of the paragraph/heading.
Where you can also set the line height or a custom font size.
Can’t select any value like

• extra small
• small
• normal

etc.

One note. If you manually put in the font-size then hit update it works. I put in 20 for the custom size then the drop-down menu switched to medium. Can’t select medium directly though without putting in a font-size first.

I can duplicate this… At least I think so. Is this what you see?

Yes. I didn’t test the custom font size because I deactivated this feature in my theme.
And it looks like to work fine. But the selection is broken.

Hi @sterndata – I noticed that ticket was closed. Is there a fix to this issue? Currently on Genesis (I don’t have the Gutenberg plugin since it’s built in to the Genesis framework)

I’m still seeing this bug. Are the two current solutions to wait til 5.6.2 or downgrade to 5.6?

Yes, those are the choices. As 5.6.2-RC1 is already out, I think waiting will be the better choice. According to a message on Slack, 5.6.2 will probably be released on Monday.

Not sure if I should open a new ticket, but I think it’s related to the same problem.
When you have a gallery block and want to set the size of the image, the select box doesn’t show what you’ve selected. Just like the Font Size problem.

The value is saved though, even if it doesn’t show in the select field.

see if 5.6.2 fixes it. If not, open a new ticket.
