Font sizes changed without my interaction

  • Hi all,

    Started using WordPress quite recently. All worked pretty ok, and then suddenly, last week sometime (about two or three weeks into my new use of WordPress), the fonts went all “funny”.

    What I mean by “funny” is: The second, third, fourth etc articles down on the front page’s fonts go sequentially smaller. The lead article is normal size, next one is smaller, next one is smaller still etc etc etc.

    Second thing is that all the links/menus that I have on the sidebar suddenly have VERY small fonts!

    The things that I changed are:
    Upgraded to WordPress 3.1.3
    Added Amazon.com affiliate advertizing (in the “normal” text widget
    Added AdSense advertising in a “normal” text widget

  • You have a missing closing </small> tag in your first post.

    For things like that, a good way to check is to run your site through the W3 Validator, you’ll easily spot errors like forgetting to close a tag

    Hey folks, thanks for the help. Much appreciated. Immediately solved the issue. I know some code, but, alas, do not use it regularly enough, and therefore, make maaaannnny mistakes…lol ??
