Font smoothing?

It seems my text is being “smoothed” (I think?) by Hestia, my font is Lato.

But if you look at another website that uses the Lato text the text seems fuller. My font seems thinner and more gray (not just black) as like seen on this website here: https://aliabdaal.com/book-notes/atomic-habits-summary/

How can I change my text to be more black (without bolding it) and fuller?
