• Hi,

    I am using the Twenty Seventeen theme.

    I have searched online and in this forum for an answer, I have found some information but the solutions have not worked for me.

    I am having font size problems. The page titles and menu size are ok for the time being but when I add text to any page the font is not how I want it to look. When using Paragraph it is massive and looks awful. I have tried Headings 3, 5 and six but these also look too big and are not what I want, I prefer how Paragraph looks. I have also deactivated plugins to see if they are causing a problem but that does not seem to be the answer.

    How can I reduce the size of the font/text on pages?

    I am having problems setting up a child theme at the moment so for the time being I shall use Additional CSS in the customiser.

    Thank you in advance for any help.

    Some examples are on the About page. Heading 5 is about the right size but it’s capitals and I prefer upper and lower case.

    I found some styles on your page that are causing the large text for paragraphs:

    p { font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 31px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 300; }

    Does that look familiar? Check the “Additional CSS” part of the dashboard to see whether that code exists there.

    Hi Andrew, thank you for your help. I have been too busy to do anything about it this week but will have a look tonight and let you know what happens.
