Font types don’t change when I tell them to

So I have this problem every now and then – only with this plugin, nowhere else on WordPress or my PC in general.
Sometimes the plugin will simply refuse to adjust the font type. I’ll select it and hit Apply, and nothing happens – it’ll just look like some standard and very small font. Then in other blocks it will work fine – but if I add a new paragraph to the same block, it might leave those new lines in a different font.
It does change in the editing-window in the right sidebar, it just doesn’t translate to the actual newsletter. And another thing: if I hit return once or twice to start on a new line, the font will reset in size, type and alignment.
It looks horrible and it’s driving me up the wall. What could be going wrong here?
