Font won’t change when out of customizer

    Hello,

    When I try to change the font of my headers on my site to Playfair Display (from some sort of default font), nothing happens. Inside the customizer it looks like the font has changed to Playfair Display, but every time i go out to look at the site as a visitor the font has not changed. I have tried to change the CSS according to some guides I found, but seeing as I have no experience in coding it has not proved effective…

    How do I solve this problem?

  • Hi, utbildningsutskottet, I’m another Hestia user.

    If you’re using a caching plugin or if your site server has a caching mechanism, I would recommend clearing the cache.

    Hey, utbildningsutskottet, was this always a problem or did this just start recently?

    You didn’t have the customizer changes to be saved as a draft did you?

    Hello again Ian,

    No it started when I changed my theme into Hestia. All other changes I have made shows when you look at the page as a visitor. It is only the font that does not seem to want to change, so I don′t think it is saved as a draft.

    Hey, utbildningsutskottet, please attempt to disable all plugins. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Install and activate “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

    It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.

    On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins and allow you to turn your plugins on and off, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
