FontAwesome

FontAwesome is also used for hearts, thumbs and social media icons. In the future I’m planning to add support for more types of rating widget – which means more icons will be required. This was discussed here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wishlist-for-future-versions/page/2/. I wouldn’t say that the FontAwesome library leaves a website slow, but sure there are some additional http requests. Therefore, there is an option to not load FontAwesome. You can then load only the required icons in your child theme’s functions.php or a custom-made plugin.
