FontAwesome Icons Not Showing

  • Hi! This plugin works great with most social media icon sets, but if I use FontAwesome Brands icons, for some reason, it shows as a box with an X instead of the icon, or the icon just plain doesn’t show up and is empty. As there’s some icons that are only available in the FontAwesome Brands set, I can’t switch to a different icon set. I’m unsure what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    What is the link to the website where this happens?

    This is still an issue. The Font Awesome Brands fonts don’t get loaded on the site. I’m running the KadenceWP theme and setup the block in a widget area in the footer.

    @tnolte can you provide a link to the website where this issue happens?

    @inamoro yeah so it would be https://www.timnolte.com I ended up installing the Font Awesome plugin which appeared to fix the issue for now. I really didn’t want to install another plugin but I preferred the available Font Awesome social icons.
