    Hi,

im trying to add my own icon pack using Fontello. I followed the How do I add an icon pack from Fontello? guide in the FAQ section. I then used a FTP client to upload the extracted icon directory to my server. I placed the Fontello icon pack folder inside the wp-content/fontpacks folder.
So I’ve created the fontpacks folder, copied the content of the .zip file, downloaded from fontello, inside this folder.

I came back to the Menu Icons Settings meta box on the left hand side of the menu editing screen.
BUT FONTELLO STILL DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THERE? so I am not even able to enable the Fontello icon pack in the menu editing screen.

    SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME ??
I really want to have my own custom icons

  • Hey!

I don’t think I can debug this issue without having the zip file and test it on my site. Could you upload it somewhere? If you’re not willing to share it with the rest of the world, please contact me via my blog.

Thank you so much for your help!

    To document the fix…

The issue was caused by missing name in config.json file. When making icon packs in Fontello, make sure to give it a name (alphanumeric, dashes & underscores only) — the field is located between the wrench icon and the big red Download webfont button on fontello.

Perhaps I should make a video for this ??
