Does the issue persist on the theme’s demo site?

The problem occures only when the Pinboard standard font ‘Helvetica Neue, Nimbus Sans L, sans serif’ is used. The problem is also visible in the demo site.

Try installing a fonts plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-google-fonts/

Then adding Helvetica through that plugin – which will call it in through Google if the device/ browser doesn’t support that font

After installing Google fonts it seems that the problem is solved. Thanks Andrew.
