    Hi all,

    I am fairly new to WordPress, and am currently building my first site. I am using the Ample theme but I have created a Child Theme to make some changes. I am using the FooGallery Plugin. When I load the page, the photos seem to be a bit glitchy (it looks like the 4 photos get loaded and then they get placed where they should be on the page). I know I could write a function in jquery using the preload method but I’m not sure how to do that while using the plugin. Is this an acceptable way, if so, could anyone guide me in the right direction? Or is there a preferable way to prevent the images from doing this?

    I had the same problem but managed to fix it (at least with the simple portfolio view) by adding this to my css:

    .bf-item { display: none; }

    (when foogallery is ready, it adds inline css, setting the display to inline block)

    Thank you, I ended up switching plugins. But this fix helped with it.
