My hosting provider deactivated all plugins. When I reactivated them, everything related to Foogallery (free version 2.4.16) works fine with regards to anyone accessing my website. However, I’m the website administrator and when editing a post containing Foogallery I can see the photos in the gallery, but not the gallery UI code. If I attempt to edit the gallery I receive the following error message.

You need a higher level of permission.

Sorry, you are not allowed to create posts as this user.
In the left WP panel under Foogallery, there is no Gallery Selection for me to see existing galleries or create new ones. I’ve deactivated and reactivated Foogallery and I’ve signed out and back in as administrator, all to no avail. The album creator role is set to Editor, but I don’t see one for Gallery Creator.

    Hi @aggie69

This happens when the “Gallery Creator” role is set to another user role different to yours as shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/ZKSTid9drW9l

Kindly login as the administrator (or ask another administrator user to do so if you are having issues) and navigate to FooGallery -> Settings -> General and scroll down to “Gallery Creator” where you can set it to “Administrator” once more. Thanks

    Kind regards,
    Elvis

The role was set to editor and they have full rights. However, as an Administrator I can’t view, add, or edit galleries. If I change the role to Administrator then I have full rights, but my Editors don’t!! Somehow both groups had full rights in the past, but don’t now. I really need both groups, but no other group, to have full rights. Any ideas?
