Football Pool – Seasons

From what I’ve read this seems to not presently be a feature as matches have to be deleted to start a new season.

Any plans for a feature to archive old seasons and have the ability to begin new ones?

I am using the program for American football and love it. Would it also be possible to have a “showcase” listing of user sites? I think this would be helpful to see how others use the code.

The idea of seasons has been on my idea list for a long time. But the thing is, that it would require some serious rework on the plugin. And I don’t have enough time to do this and there have always been other things to change or bugs to fix.

The closest thing now is to use custom rankings. If matches from one season are grouped in a custom ranking, only those matches are used in that ranking.
But the plugin wasn’t build to contain a lot of data, so eventually the score calculation will stop due to performance problems if there are too many users or matches.

I don’t have a list of sites that are using my plugin. I can make a sticky topic for users to post their URL and maybe a short description.
