Footer Ads not showing up in ONLY one page?

  • This is strange. The footer ads for Google Adsense show up in every page and post, except one. My “Home” page works just fine. However, my Writing pages does not. As far as I can see, in the page options, footer options and widget options, they are set up exactly the same, and all of my posts on my Blog work fine too, as well as the Graphic Art and Contact Me pages. I realize that they are showing double ads – I know why and am working on that (that’s easy, it’s a set up in the Widget section because I have both the Footer Ads and Footer 1 set.) I’ll fix that , but can anyone tell me why my writing page has NO ads? I don’t have ads turned off for that page. I’m confused. (sigh)

    I was able to get the duplicate footer ads corrected, but I still can’t figure out why the ad will only display on the front page and the Posts. I just checked, and ow the adsense footer is not displaying on any other “Pages.” So I checked the settings on the widget – “Ad Inserter” which allows me to put the code for my ads into several different ads and then insert the desired short-code into a widget for the side bar or footer. I placed it in a text field in the Footer Ads (Footer Ads Area) and it doesn’t work! I am confused.

    Hi Coleen. I just checked each page on your topbar menu, along with several posts, and each one had an ad in the Footer Ads container. Is there a specific page/post in which this is not working?

    Hi BD, thanks for responding. Yes, as a matter of act the ads are on the Main Page, and all of the posts pages, but not on this page:
    and I can’t figure out why that is the only page it is not working on. I have it set up the same as the other pages, and they all work…so I’m at a loss. Thanks for any help you can give, it is very appreciated.

    Yes – I thought I did – sorry it didn’t go through here is the link:

    But now – it seems to be working. It’s an on-again, off-again thing, which is really weird, because this is the first time I’ve pulled up that page that it has worked.

    My guess is it’s the feed for the ad that is the problem. I just checked that page and it took almost 5 seconds after the page was generated for the ad to be displayed.
