• Hello,

I’m trying to fix this issue for a few weeks already with no success.
When editing the Revolution Slider, I noticed that my header and footer disappeared from the page. I managed to make the header visible, even though it looks completely different now and I can’t browse my media library to find the uploaded images, such as logo, to add in the header (as well as a “Book now” widget from UMAI which is used for the reservations). But the footer is just not showing at all anymore.

I’m using Elementor for editing pages, as well as Slider Revolution and the REON theme for restaurants. The page was initially created by another person who told me that the issue with headers / footers had already happened in the past, but she doesn’t know how to solve it.

I would appreciate help with fixing this issue.

    Thanks.

    Lilit

Try this tool to help self-diagnose the cause of the issues you are experiencing:

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the recommendation. I have installed the plugin but there are no insights regarding my issue.

As for the other resources, I tried to open a ticket for the Reon theme, but they request a license key but I don’t have it because I was not the one purchasing and installing the theme.

-“I have installed the plugin but there are no insights regarding my issue.” — what actions did you take — i.e. in troubleshooting mode — deactivating plugins, changing themes

-Can you find out if it’s possible to purchase a license key so you can get support for the theme?

The troubleshooting mode just deactivates everything I have installed including the theme.

After deactivating everything using troubleshooting mode, you can activate each plugin one by one to see if any plugin is causing the issues you have.
After deactivating everything using troubleshooting mode do you see a new WordPress default theme active? If yes, is the header + footer properly displayed?
The troubleshooting mode of health check plugin is tool to self-check theme and plugins to narrow down the source of the issue.

Yes, I can see the default header and footer after deactivating everything, but the problem is that I have the header and footer created with the Builder Header Footer which doesn’t show as an option for activating and/or deactivating. I suspect that there is some conflict between the Builder Header Footer and the Revolution Slider.

Sounds like you have started on the right path to narrow down the issue and get support.
Contact the support areas for “Builder Header Footer” and the “Revolution Slider”.
Is this the Builder Header Footer plugin?

Yes, that’s what I initially thought was the issue… I already posted in the plugin forum. Hope they can help. Thanks!

I found out that the header and footer disappear when I activate the Polyland plugin.
