    Hi,

I don’t want to use the footer widgets but simply want to add text to the footer bar.

I can add plain text no problem through the display option and even some html. However what I want is the website copyright statement to the left and our web design site link to the right. I have tried floating two paragraphs left – one aligned left and the other aligned right. It works to a degree but is bunched up over the left hand third of the footer bar.

I was even happy to have both statements centered, one above the other but this would not work after adjusting the CSS.

    I’m stumped!

    Can anyone suggest anything.

I thought perhaps the number of footer widgets was having an effect so set that to 1. No joy there either.

Here is a link to the site https://gxp.colintonwebsitedesign.com/

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can set the #bottom-bar-text width to 100%

    Many thanks Ronagelo.

I saw that the #bottom-bar was set to width to 100% and thought that was enough. Didn’t think about the text.

    Great theme by the way.

    Thanks again.

Similar to jmkt, I am using the footer bar instead of the footer widgets. I am trying to structure some things into this footer bar and would like to organize them using tables. But, when I have the table in the footer bar, a white border (probably 1px) appears. I would like to make that boarder go away (0px), but I’m not sure how to do it. I know I need to change the CSS code, but I’m not sure how to alter it without altering the format of all the tables. Can you point me in the right direction?

One more question regarding the footer….

I am trying to put in a Google Plus follow button on the footer bar. I used G+ to generate a code. The code I need to enter is

    <div class="g-follow" data-annotation="bubble" data-height="20" data-href="//plus.google.com/u/0/109497440578290413127" data-rel="publisher"></div>

    followed by some javascript.

When I put this code into the footer bar and then save it, the code changes and says

    <div class="g-follow"></div>

Any idea why this might be happening? When I place the code on a page it works fine. This only seems to be happening in the footer bar…
