    Hi,

It’s not possible to adjust the color of the footer widget titles and text. It says, “Color” at the bottom of the text and font option boxes for Title, Text, etc, but there is nowhere to click to actually change the color like in the video.

I’m trying to make the footer text white.

I’ve tried turning off other plugins, clearing cache and restarting but nothing worked yet.

    Thanks

  • I have the exact same problem. Also with changing the colour for menu items

I also have exactly the same problem with changing the site title and description colour

I think I saw a reply from the plugin creator, maybe on another similar thread I’m following, in which he said that feature was no longer available.

The issue occurs when you update wordpress. I solved the problem by downgrading the wordpress core back down to 4.8.3 (using a plugin called “downgrade”), and now the advanced twenty-seventeen plugin works perfectly!

A word of warning though – you need to be careful when downgrading the wordpress installation as you can easily break your site. I suggest disabling all plugins before you do this and making a full backup before you start. Also while this fixes the problem for now it commits you to freezing wordpress at 4.8.3 which is not so good in the long run.

I’ve tried looking at the website for the developer, Saturn Plugins, but come up with a blank page, so I’ve no idea if we can expect a fix for the plugin to make it work with the latest wordpress version. Which is a shame because it is a brilliant plugin when it is fully functional
