Footer columns for Karma

Hi All:

I tried to edit my footer columns and it let me but it has created a few problems:

1. I removed my Mail chimp widget and placed it in my inactive widgets for future use but it just disappeared. Where can I recover it from?

2. The Fourth, Fifth & Sixth footer columns wont allow me to insert any widgets to them even though i have had widgets in them in the past. How can I resolve this problem.
