    Hi there,

I was wondering if it was possible to change the copyright text. Would I have to purchase the pro version to do this?

You can change anything in the free version as distributed on www.ads-software.com, including the copyright text. What the authors may do is say there will be an option in the dashboard to remove it in the Pro version, whereas in the free version you’d likely have to change the code.

I was wondering if it was possible to change the copyright text.

I think this change will require a Child Theme. First create that:

For clarification, can you link to a page with this copyright text and point out which text you’re referring to?

    This is the site https://brotherssoundlightevent.com

The copyright text is found in the footer. I would like to replace it.

Sorry I’m not sure I see copyright text, what text is it?

“Developed by Think Up Themes Ltd. Powered by WordPress. “

I would like to replace the above text with my own

Copy the ‘footer.php’ file from the theme into your Child Theme folder.

Then replace all of the code in your Child Theme footer.php file with the code from this PasteBin page: https://pastebin.com/H28nhZcq

just go to : /public_html/wp-content/themes/sento/admin/main/options and you will see 04.footer.php , open it and at the very bottom you can change copyright text

Thank you for your help, Andrew and bruno. I have taken your advice and managed to change it.

Hi Andrew, like Cassandra I have the same problem, then I followed your advice (copied the “footer.php” file from Sento into my Child Theme folder, then replaced all the code by the one you indicate), but it doesn’t change anything. And if I follow brunoxhoxhi’s advice, if I change the copyright text in the “04.footer.php” —which is inside one of Sento’s theme folders— won’t my change be deleted when the developers team will make an update ? Thank’s a lot for your help, best regards

if you update , yes your change will be lost but you can always follow the same procedure because the location of the file wont change

Hi brunosxhoxhi, I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand which procedure I should follow, so that my change won’t be lost (sorry for my English I’m French ?? Regards

Hi jcpcosta! Sorry for the late reply. Not sure if it helps anymore but I didn’t do anything. They aligned automatically.
