I have a problem with a footer I want to edit and remove a part of it. The problem is that the editor doesn’t seem to load at all, no matter how long I wait and instead loads indefinitely. (screenshot of the splash screen https://imgur.com/a/heG49HN)

I’ve tried the solutions suggested in the sticky (permalink flushing and 512M) but had no luck in getting it to load. I would also like to note that the footer is the only one that I can’t edit, other Elementor-made pages load properly.

Any ideas as to what it could be and suggestions for a solution?

UPDATE: I’ve narrowed it down to the Elastic Email Subscribe Form.
When it was added to the footer it eventually broke the edit function and had to be deactivated to load the editor again.

I did notice that when it was inserted these errors popped up repeatedly in the console:

Uncaught ReferenceError: originalEvent is not defined common.min.js?ver=3.2.4:2

Uncaught TypeError: e.elements.$counterNumber.numerator is not a function preloaded-modules.min.js?ver=3.2.4:2

Any ideas as to why this could be popping up?

    Hi @apliakis,

Just so we are at the same “page” here. This is the plugin you are using, right?

Did you add the subscribe form on the Footer using the HTML widget? If you did, please try doing the same on an Elementor page and see if whether or not the same issue is happening on that page. If it is, then this issue is related to Elementor rather than Elementor Header Footer plugin as this plugin is also using Elementor editor.

Let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
